It's best to start charging rechargeable batteries when the battery's capacity drops to around 20%. This practice will help with prevent the "memory effect". It's also important to avoid fully depleting the rechargeable batteries to 0% (over-discharging) before recharging and over-charging after recharging, so as to prolong a battery's lifespan.

Our rechargeable lithium-ion AA batteries take approximately 2 hours to charge, and rechargeable lithium-ion AAA batteries take around 1.5 hours to charge; rechargeable NiMH AA batteries take approximately 2 hours to charge, and rechargeable NiMH AAA batteries take around 1.5 hours to charge.

Each country has its own regulations. We however recommend disposing them through designated recycling centres to protect the environment.

Based on the estimation of test results for battery life according to IEC standards, a good rechargeable battery should be able to deliver up to 2100 full charge cycles, cycles being the number of times a battery is charged to full and discharged to empty. The number may vary, however, depending on how the batteries are used. Brand new AmpTorrent batteries deliver up to 3000 full charge cycles.

We strongly recommend that your use an AmpTorrent charger to charge AmpTorrent batteries. This is because AmpTorrent chargers are specifically designed to suit AmpTorrent-brand batteries to ensure the best performance.
